Why this exists

A tribute to Messi. For everyone who watched.

War of Soccer is an independent project and an unofficial tribute to Lionel Messi — and to every GOAT beside him: Pelé, Maradona, Cruyff, Zidane, Ronaldo. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.

He is 39. He has said this is his last World Cup. On July 19 in New Jersey he plays one more final — and this game is out for it. That is not a marketing date. That is the whole point.

Twenty years of Lionel Messi

He makes sports games you play in a browser — no install, no store, no download. War of Soccer and War of Cricket share one rule: the sport has to be real. Ball flight is simulated, not faked, and outcomes are earned by timing, never a random roll.
