Play two halves with a complete team, AI opponents, player switching, and a choice of three, five, or ten minutes of match time.
League and cup campaigns
Play ten home-and-away league matchdays, or chase the Founders Cup through knockout rounds. Fixtures, results and standings are saved on your device.
A club career
Manage contracts, signings, wages, training and your academy. Play league and cup fixtures, develop your squad and carry your club into a new season.
Play with friends
Send an invite for a full match or penalty shootout. Play together on one team in co-op, or watch as a spectator. Private games do not require an account.
Ranked and online leagues
Sign in for ranked matchmaking and the rating table, or create a six-manager league with actual player-versus-player fixtures.
An original football world
Choose from six fictional clubs, with original player names, skill profiles, and editable team kits.
Take the gloves
Control your goalkeeper’s movement, dive direction and save timing in a full match. Play the ball out, or switch back to an outfield player.
Penalty shootouts
Take your club’s kicks and make the opposition’s saves. A tied match can lead into extra time and a penalty decider with your chosen taker order.
Play on your terms
Use keyboard, touch or a standard gamepad. Rebind keys, choose passing assistance, use one-press shooting, adjust your camera and set accessibility options.
YOUR FIRST MATCH
Choose Kick Off, pick your club and opponent, then set your match length, difficulty, and venue. Your selected player is marked with a bright ring. Pass to a teammate to transfer control; use Switch when defending to take over a different player.
The clock shows a 90-minute match compressed into your chosen duration. Halftime pauses the match and switches ends. For exhibitions, choose whether a draw stands or the game continues to penalties or extra time. Cup draws go to extra time and penalties. The referee adds time for recorded stoppages.
THE CONTROLS
These are the default bindings. In Settings → Controls & accessibility, rebind keys, choose a single press for shooting, toggle sprint, or select manual passing. The in-game tutorial follows your current settings. On a phone or tablet, use the movement stick and action buttons; their positions can be swapped. Landscape gives you a wider pitch view. A standard gamepad uses the left stick to move, A to pass, B to shoot or tackle, X to loft, Y for a through ball, LB to switch, LS click to take the goalkeeper, RB for an outfield support run or a high keeper save, LT to shield, a right-stick flick to roll the ball, RT to sprint and Start to pause.

War of Soccer’s playable clubs and players are fictional. Our game uses original kit designs and player attributes. The real athletes, clubs, and competitions covered in the website’s news and history sections are editorial subjects; they are not playable licensed content or endorsers of the game.
YOUR CLUB. YOUR SEASON.
Open League & Cup from the match hub. Choose a club, campaign, match length and difficulty. Set your formation and tactical style before a fixture; use Team management during a match to queue substitutions. The campaign table and bracket update when the result is final.
BUILD A CAREER
Open Career from the hub to manage your senior squad, transfers, contracts, training, academy and finances. Your selected players and their development carry into each fixture. Completed seasons stay in the club archive.
PLAY ONLINE
Open Online to create or join an invite. Select a full match, co-op or penalties and share the room link. Both players ready up before kick-off. Reopening the same tab can reconnect after a brief interruption. Ranked play and six-manager online leagues require a free account; solo progress remains stored on your device.
KEEP YOUR PROGRESS
Matches autosave on this device. Pause to save and leave, then use Resume Match to continue. Export career saves from Career and competition saves from League & Cup to keep a copy or import them on another device. Clearing site storage removes local progress.
