Alireza Beiranvand, Iran's long-time No. 1 nicknamed the Wall of Persia, is Tractor's goalkeeper and vice-captain; he joined from Persepolis in July 2024 and was man of the match in Iran's 0–0 with Belgium at the 2026 World Cup.

Career

Beiranvand left Persepolis after the 2023–24 title and joined Tractor on 16 July 2024 on a three-year deal; Persepolis called the move illegal at the time.

In August 2025 Iran's federation appeal committee suspended him for four months and ordered $300,000 compensation to Persepolis over the contract termination, a ban PersianFootball said would hit both Tractor and the national team.

He has kept goal for Iran at the 2018, 2022 and 2026 World Cups and the 2015, 2019 and 2023 Asian Cups.

How they play

Wikipedia's style section cites athleticism, aerial ability and 'outstanding shot-stopping'; on 24 November 2014 he even provided an assist against Tractor by throwing the ball into the opponent's half.

Where they are now

Tractor's squad list as of 10 August 2026 still names him first-choice goalkeeper and vice-captain.
