Career
After Hamburg and a season at Lille he joined Everton in 2022, then moved to Villa on 22 July 2024 on a five-year contract for a reported £50 million. His first Villa season brought 34 appearances and five goals.
2025–26 was better: 38 appearances, a fourth-place Premier League finish, and a 3–0 Europa League final win over Freiburg in Istanbul, where he came on as a second-half substitute. Belgium then took him to the World Cup, where he made four appearances.
