The path from Génération Foot and Metz through Salzburg, Southampton and Liverpool produced a Premier League, Champions League, Club World Cup and FA Cup; a one-season Bayern Munich stop then a 1 August 2023 move to Al-Nassr.

Wikipedia records 10 goals and 6 assists in Al-Nassr's 2025–26 Saudi Pro League title season. The Athletic in June 2026 put his Al-Nassr tally at 51 goals over three seasons alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, João Félix and Kingsley Coman.

Goal.com reported that days after calling time on his international career he joined Al-Nassr's Portugal pre-season camp; FotMob's early 2026–27 line includes a 3–0 vs Al-Fateh (1 assist) and a 4–1 vs Al-Diriyah (1 assist).
