Career
Born in Solna, he came through AIK (37 senior league games) and signed for Brighton & Hove Albion on 30 January 2023 until June 2027 (Wikipedia). Debut was an FA Cup quarter-final win over Grimsby on 19 March 2023, replacing Alexis Mac Allister.
Loans at Coventry City and Blackburn Rovers followed in 2023–24. First Brighton goal was in a 3–2 win over West Ham at Falmer on 26 April 2025. Wikipedia's table, as of 23 August 2026, lists 34 Premier League games in 2024–25 and 29 games with three goals in 2025–26.

A 1.72 m midfielder. Fabian Hürzeler told The Argus on 29 August 2026 that Ayari is 'one of the hardest workers' and 'one of the quickest learners' and that the club was 'in an exchange' over his contract. He started Brighton's 4–0 opening win over Aston Villa, then missed the Chelsea trip on 30 August with an unspecified injury (Sussex Express).

He is at Brighton (Wikipedia, updated 31 August 2026). Hürzeler said fans 'won't have to be concerned' about the contract situation (The Argus, 29 August). Aftonbladet on 25 August reported Roma and Dortmund interest and a Brighton valuation of €40–45 million; no move had been completed.
