Abbosbek Fayzullaev is Uzbekistan's 22-year-old right winger, signed by İstanbul Başakşehir from CSKA Moscow in July 2025 on a five-year deal that broke the Turkish club's transfer record.

Career

He came through Pakhtakor Tashkent, scoring in the Uzbek Super League before CSKA Moscow signed him in 2023. Two seasons in the Russian Premier League made him a regular for Uzbekistan and one of Central Asia's most watched attackers.

On 31 July 2025 Başakşehir announced a five-year contract running to June 2030. Reporting around the deal put the fee at about €7.5 million, a club record, with City Football Group's relationship to the Istanbul side part of the backdrop.

A 1.67 m right winger who can also play as a No. 10 or on the left, he beats full-backs in tight spaces and looks for early balls into the box rather than slowing attacks down.

Where they are now

He wears No. 11 for Başakşehir in the 2026–27 Süper Lig and remains a staple of Uzbekistan's attack after the World Cup summer.
