Career
He first broke through at Toluca, moved to Guadalajara in 2019, and returned on 17 January 2024 after disciplinary issues at Chivas. Wikipedia records 80 Liga MX appearances and 27 goals since that second spell began.
Toluca extended him through June 2028 in September 2025. He wears No. 9 and has started the 2026–27 Apertura as captain.

A right-footed left winger who cuts inside onto his stronger foot, he is as likely to shoot from the edge of the box as he is to slip a teammate in behind.
Where they are now
He is Toluca's captain heading into Apertura 2026, with four early-season starts and a goal. In May 2026 Mexico granted Toluca special permission to use him and Jesús Gallardo during a national-team window, a decision that drew criticism.
