Antonio Sanabria is a Paraguay striker who left Cremonese after one Serie A season and signed for Internacional on 20 August 2026 on a contract through 2029.

Career

A former Barcelona and Sassuolo prospect, he had a breakout loan at Sporting Gijón and then five years at Real Betis before Torino. Cremonese signed him on 21 August 2025, newly promoted to Serie A, for a reported €2.5 million.

He scored his first Cremonese goal in a 2–0 home win over Lecce and finished 2025–26 with 25 Serie A appearances and one goal. On 20 August 2026 he moved to Internacional in Brazil until the end of 2029.

How they play

A centre-forward who drops into the channel to link play, he is at his best when a wide player hits the box rather than when asked to hold the ball with his back to goal for long spells.

Where they are now

The move to Porto Alegre closed a single season in Cremona. He remains in Paraguay's attacking group after the 2026 World Cup cycle.
