Christian Pulisic
Midfielder · AC Milan
Christian Pulisic is closing in on his first AC Milan appearance of 2026-27, after a World Cup leg injury wiped out his preseason.
Career
Pulisic has gone without a goal for club or country for most of 2026, and a bone-edema issue in his right tibia-fibula area picked up at the World Cup disrupted his preseason build-up at Milan.
He has since recovered from that injury and, per Milan-focused outlets, is expected to feature off the bench in the Serie A trip to Juventus in early September 2026 - what would be his season debut.
How they play
A wide forward who can also drift infield; manager Ruben Amorim has him behind Cisse and Loftus-Cheek in the pecking order for now and is managing his return carefully rather than restoring him straight to the XI.
Where they are now
La Gazzetta dello Sport has floated Pulisic as one of Milan's effective 'new signings' this September, arguing his Serie A experience gives Amorim a ready-made option once he is match-fit again.
