Brazil goalkeeper Ederson left Manchester City for Fenerbahçe in 2025 after eight trophy-laden years at the Etihad, then went to a third World Cup in 2026 as back-up to Alisson.

Career

Ederson joined City from Benfica in 2017 and made 372 appearances across eight years, winning 18 trophies including six Premier League titles and the Champions League, before completing a permanent transfer to Fenerbahçe for around €14m in September 2025 on a three-year contract.

Carlo Ancelotti named him in Brazil's 26-man squad for the 2026 World Cup — his third tournament after Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022 — as back-up to Liverpool's Alisson.
