Ajdin Hrustic, the Australian midfielder who scored in the 2022 World Cup round of 16, joined UAE Pro League club Al-Nasr on 24 July 2026 after a season back at Heracles Almelo.

Career

Born in Dandenong, he came through Groningen, won the 2022 Europa League with Eintracht Frankfurt, then drifted through Hellas Verona, a Heracles loan, Salernitana in Serie B (21 league games in 2024–25) and a full season back at Heracles (27 Eredivisie matches, one goal).

Wikipedia, FotMob and Soccerway all date the free move to Al-Nasr to July 2026. ESPN lists him as an Al-Nasr midfielder; FotMob has Al-Nasr vs Al-Ain on 29 August 2026 as his next league fixture.
