Career

Godoy's club path runs from Chepo and Godoy Cruz through Budapest Honvéd into MLS, where he spent years with the San Jose Earthquakes and Nashville SC before signing for expansion side San Diego FC on 19 December 2024 on a one-year deal with club options.

San Diego picked up those options: he is contracted through 2026 with a further club option for 2027, and by mid-2026 he had more than 40 MLS appearances for the expansion club.
