Ryan Gravenberch joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich in September 2023. A deeper midfield role under Arne Slot helped him become the Premier League’s Young Player of the Season in 2024–25.
Career
Gravenberch entered Ajax’s academy at eight after starting at AVV Zeeburgia. His senior Ajax debut in September 2018 made him the club’s youngest debutant.
He moved to Bayern in 2022 and won the Bundesliga before joining Liverpool. His first Anfield season included a starting place in the victorious 2024 League Cup final.
